These services provide access to the university's network and computing resources through a BarryNet account and secure password. They serve as an individual’s identity on the network.

This knowledge base category reflects conferencing and media services offered by the Division of Information Technology. These services enable real-time collaboration with multiple people and/or in multiple locations, communication systems, and presentation media. This service includes the support staff, processing, and technology to provide:
• audio visual equipment
• video and audio conferencing
• web streaming,

• video editing and studio recording

Cyber Security and Intrusion Prevention

This knowledge base category reflects cyber security and intrusion prevention services offered by the Division of Information Technology. These services provide options and resources to protect Barry University networks, hardware, and software from malicious or unwanted disruption, modification, and disclosure.

Data Storage

This knowledge base category reflects data storage services offered by the Division of Information Technology. These services provide instructions for accessing network and cloud storage.

E-Mail

This knowledge base category reflects the services that the Division of Information Technology provides related to E-mail. These include topics around communication through electronic messaging to all Barry University employees and registered students. It is accessible via Microsoft Outlook for desktop, online webmail, and for mobile computing devices.

Gaming and Media Connections

This knowledge base category reflects gaming and media connections services offered by the Division of Information Technology. These services provide the configuration and internet connection of game consoles, smart tv's, and entertainment multimedia devices to Barry’s secure network connections.

Learning Management System (LMS)

This knowledge base category reflects the learning management system (lms) services provided in the Division of Information Technology. These services provide the administration and delivery of a university-wide application for blended/hybrid and online courses. Our current system is called Instructure Canvas.

Online Resources

This knowledge base category reflects Online Resources services such as WebAdvisor, SharePoint, OneDrive, Workday, GoBarryEdu offered by the Division of Information Technology. These services provide instructions for accessing Online Resources .

Print and Fax Management

This knowledge base category reflects print and fax management services provided in the Division of Information Technology. These relates to the Barry University community with printing, copying, scanning, and faxing capability from wired and wireless machines throughout all university facilities.

Software and Applications

These services provide software and custom application solutions as well as software licensing to the Barry University community in order to carry-out business, teaching, and learning responsibilities.

Telephone

Office 365: Bringing It Together
