This service provides a department/group/event with a shared mailbox. A shared mailbox provides you with an email account with a suggested name on it that multiple individuals can access.
What is included
- Shared point of contact
- Ability to send messages from Outlook or Outlook Web App
- 10 GB of Storage
- 25 MB Message size limit
- 25 MB File attachment size limit.
- Ability to allow a managed group access to the mailbox
- Mailbox owner for the managed group
Student shared mailboxes must be requested by faculty or staff

Exclusion
- Student Accounts (@mymail.barry.edu) can not be granted access to shared (departmental) mailboxes.
Who receives this service
- Faculty, Staff and Non-Employees​
Service Level Agreement
- Respond in 1 business day the department or general e-mail address will be created in 3 business days.
What happens next
- You will receive an email confirmation message once the mailbox has been created.
