If your mobile device is lost or stolen you can wipe all of the data from the device by following the instructions below, so sensitive information such as personal identification or confidential communications, aren't accessed by anyone other than the mailbox owner.
Note: Not all devices support remote device wipe. You can only wipe a mobile device for a user when Exchange ActiveSync is used to synchronize the contents of the mailbox.
1. Go to Outlook on the Web and log into your Barry email account.
2. Once logged in, on the upper right-hand corner, click on the gears-wheel icon to open Settings
3. On the left-hand side menu, click on General, then Mobile devices
4. Under Mobile devices, select the mobile device that has been lost or stolen and click Wipe all data button.
5. When prompt Are you sure you want to wipe Outlook? After the device wipe is successful, remove the device from the list. Click Save.
6. After you wipe the data, delete the device from the list by clicking the delete button (trash can icon).
(Note: The mobile device isn't given the remote wipe command until the next time it tries to synchronize with Microsoft Exchange.)
7. A confirmation e-mail is sent to your Barry Account as soon as the remote device wipe is complete.
(Note: Perform this final step only if you are sure that you are not going to recover your lost or stolen device and your device is OFF. Once your device is synchronized to the exchange server, you will NOT be able reverse the process)
