Barry’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides secure access to University network resources as if you were on campus, no matter where you are in the world. VPN should be used to remotely access your office computer, network drives (commonly known as N drive) , network printers, Colleague, and file sharing. VPN is not required when using Outlook, accessing internal websites (e.g. BUCWIS, Student Web), Library electronic databases, Webadvisor, and Canvas.
