Reset my password

This service provides information on how to create or change your password. Your BarryNet account is your identity on the network. Each individual is responsible for any improper or illegal activity that occurs on his or her account.  As such, it is imperative you do not share your password with anyone. Password changes are required every 90 days.


What is included

Creating and changing your password will allow access to computing resources specific to Barry University.

  • Self-service
    • You must have the following information:
      • Username
      • Barry University ID Number
      • Date of Birth
      • Challenge questions and answers to reset password

  • Any changes to login information for myBarry and/or using a personal email account


Who receives this service

  • Students, Faculty, Staff and Non-Employees


Service Level Agreement

  • Self-service password utility may resolve your password issue immediately.

  • Request by online form or email respond in 1 business day.

  • Phone call or walk-in visit to the IT Support Desk: your password issue will be resolved when you contact the IT Support Desk.
