XM SendSecure – Secure File Transfer Solution
Purpose of XM SendSecure
XM SendSecure is designed to safeguard emails and attachments while they are in transit (i.e., moving through servers or stored in the cloud). It ensures that sensitive data remains protected from unauthorized access.
Key Features:
- End-to-end encryption for emails and file attachments
- Temporary SafeBox creation for secure file exchange
- Expiration date scheduling for access control
- Ability to revoke or re-authorize access to recipients
Email vs. XM SendSecure
Standard Email:
- Messages and attachments are sent directly to the recipient.
- They can be intercepted by malicious third parties.
XM SendSecure:
- Creates a temporary SafeBox to store the written message and attachments securely.
- Encrypts and securely stores the content in the SafeBox.
- Invites the recipient via email to access the SafeBox using a secure authentication process.
- Allows controlled team collaboration within the SafeBox.
SafeBox Lifecycle & Team Workflow
- A SafeBox is a private, temporary, and secure location for exchanging sensitive content.
- Depending on the settings, participants can reply and collaborate within the same SafeBox on the shared topic.
- Once closed, a detailed Audit Record of all activities remains available for reference.
- The SafeBox content is automatically deleted after the set retention period, ensuring temporary secure exchanges rather than long-term storage.
