E-mailing to a class distribution list

Via Classic Outlook

1. Click on New E-mail.

 

2. On the new email template, click TO to open the Global Address List.

 

3. Under Address Book, click on the drop-down menu and select All Distribution Lists.

 

4. On the search box, type the class synonym (for example: Accounting will be ACC).

  • Once you find your class list, click on it once to select it.
  • Click TO to add it to the Recipient's box.  Click OK to return to the e-mail template.

 

5. The class distribution list will show up in the Recipient's box.

 

6. Compose the email and click SEND to email your class list.

 

 

Via Outlook on the web & New Outlook

1. Login to your email account via go.barry.edu.

2. Click New Mail.

 

3. On the new email template, click TO to open the Global Address List.

 

4. On the left navigation pane, click All Distribution Lists under Directory.

  • Click on the arrow head next to Directory if you need to expand the menu.
    • Note: If you do not see the left navigation pane, click on the arrow head next My Contacts on the left-hand side.

 

5. On the search box, type the class synonym (for example: Accounting will be ACC), and then click on the Magnifying glass.

  • Once you find your course section, click on the + (plus) sign to add it to the Recipient's box.

 

6. Once it has been added to the Recipient's box, click Save to go back to the email template.

 

7. Compose the email and click SEND to email your class list.
