This service provides access to the university's network and computing resources through a BarryNet account, which is comprised of a username and password. It serves as an individual's identity on the network.
BarryUGuest (3 Day Access)
Guests visiting Barry University with their own mobile devices can connect to the guest network. After going through a simple self-registration process, visiting guests will be able to connect to the guest wireless. Guest access is available for three days. If access is needed for a longer period of time, guests can run through the self-registration process and connect additional times. The guest wireless only provides access to outside resources and webpages, such as google.com. Individuals will not be able to login to Barry owned PC’s or access any other computing resources provided by the university. Barry University faculty and staff can request a guest account for individuals associated with Barry University who would like access to its network. If the guest only needs to access the internet the guest can use the BarryUWireless network. A guest account is needed if the guest needs to login to Barry owned PC’s or access any other computing resources provided by the University.
