Accessing the New Share

Department shared drives are in the process of moving to SharePoint.  To view you're department's shared drive, visit the Share Files Repository and click on your site.  The sites listed are what have been migrated and are available.  As others are completed and become available, they will be listed.  

Syncing Share Files to Your Computer

Add Shortcut to OneDrive

  • Once you are on your SharePoint Site's Home Page, you will see your documents. This is only a view of your documents. Click “Documents” on the left navigation to sync your files to OneDrive. This allows you to access the files easily using OneDrive for Business.

  • Once inside the document library, click on the Add shortcut to OneDrive button

  • You will be notified that the shortcut has been added to My files in OneDrive.

  • The shortcut will appear in File Explorer under OneDrive – Barry University.  This may take a few minutes.  Please note:  You may need to restart your computer.
