First Time User setup your password and account recovery settings - with QuickLaunch

Step 1: First Time User

Go to First Time User link to create your password.

On the Let’s get started! screen, enter your BarryNet Email Address and click Submit.

 

Click the arrowhead next to your email address to continue.

 

A security code will be sent to your personal email address on record with the Registrar Office for students and Workday for staff.  You will have 60 second to retrieve the code.  After 60 seconds, you will need to click the link Resend security code to receive a new code.

Students – If you need to update your personal email address send an email message to registrar@barry.edu or complete the Change of Personal Information form.

Staff – If you need to update your personal email address view the Modify Your Personal Information job aid and log into Workday to complete the update.

Enter your security code and click Submit.

 

You will be taken to a screen to create a new password.  Enter a new password, confirm the password, and click Submit.

 

Once you have successfully completed the process, you will receive a message confirming your password was reset.

You will be taken back to the http://go.barry.edu login screen.

 

 

Step 2: Setup your Account Recovery Settings

  • Go to https://go.barry.edu
  • Log in with your BarryNet email address and password, and click Sign in.
  • Go to the Help & Feedback tab (bottom row), and click the Manage my BarryNet Account icon.
  • Enter your email address and password, and click Sign In

 

Security Questions

  • Select your questions and provide the answers accordingly.  Once you are done, click Submit

 

Email Recovery

  • You may provide a Secondary email address.  Enter the secondary email address and click Verify.

 

  • A security code will be sent to your personal email address on record with the Registrar Office for students and Workday for staff.  You will have 60 second to retrieve the code.  After 60 seconds, you will need to click the link Resend security code to receive a new code.
  • Enter the security code and click Submit.

  • Once you successfully complete the process, you will receive a message confirming email address saved successfully.

 

Phone Recovery

  • Select the Country, enter your cell phone number, and click Verify.

  • A security code will be sent to your cell phone.  You will have 60 second to retrieve the code.  After 60 second, you will need to click the link Resend security code to receive a new code.
  • Enter the security code and click Submit

  • Once you successfully complete the process, you will receive a message confirming phone number saved successfully.

Once you have successfully secured your BarryNet account, click the Logout button at the bottom right-hand corner.
