Email forward for students (@mymail.barry.edu)

 

1. Log in to your Barry email account.

2. Once logged in, on the top right-hand corner, click on the "gear" icon for Settings and under My app settings, click Mail.

 

3. On the left navigation menu, expand the MAIL menu.  Expand the Automatic processing menu, and then click Inbox and sweep rules.

 

4. Click on the "+" (plus) sign.

 

5. Give the rule a name.

6. Under the section When the message arrives, and, click on the drop-down menu and then click Apply to all messages.

 

7. Under the section Do the following, click on the drop-down menu, click Forward, redirect, or send, and then select Forward the message to...

 

8. On the TO section, type the email address where you want the emails to be forwarded to.  When you see the email address being displayed below the TO line, click Use this address... 

 

9. Click OK.

 

10. Once your see your email displayed on the screen and is correct.  Click OK.

 

11. You will see the confirmation that the forward rule has been set up.

 

12. To go back yo your Inbox, click on the top left-corner menu and then click Mail.

 

 

Any new email will be forwarded to the alternate email address from now on.
