Setting Up Security Questions

Existing Network Accounts (created before October 11, 2017)

Beginning October 11, 2017 when you log into one of our commonly used sites, such as email, Canvas and Workday, if you have not already setup your security questions and answers, you will be prompted to do so before accessing the resource. You will only do this once. You don’t need to change your password.


New Network Accounts


During your initial account set up you will be asked to select 3 security questions and to provide unique answers to these questions.

These questions and answers will be used in the event that you forget your password and need to recover it.


Select your questions from each of the three drop-down lists.

It is recommended that you choose questions with answers that are easy for you to remember, yet difficult for others discern.

Answers are not case sensitive.


Once you’ve selected your questions and answers, press the ‘Submit" button.

If you forget your password in the future, you will be asked for the answers to your questions.
