Managing a group/distribution list using Outlook



1. Open Outlook.

2. From the Home ribbon, locate the Find section and click Address Book.


3. On the Address Book window, click on the drop-down menu and then click "All Distribution Lists."


4. On the search box, type the name of the list you wish to edit.

  • Once you find the list, right-click on it and then click Properties.


5. On the General tab, click Modify members.


6. Click Add.


7. On the search box, type the name of the user (last name, first name) you wish to add to the list.

  • Click on the name once to highlight it, click Add, and then click OK.


8. The name should on the list.  Click OK.


9. Click Apply, and then click OK to save the changes.


Updates to a group/distribution list can take up to 40 minutes for changes to apply.  For further assistance, please call the Support Desk at 305-899-3604.
