How to Reset your BitLocker PIN

  1. Click the Start button, type "bitlocker", then select Manage Bitlocker (see image below).

  1. Click the Change PIN link (see image below).

  1. Type a new PIN in both fields and click the Set PIN button.  The PIN must be either 4 or 6 digits in length and must be all numbers (see image below).

  1. If the PIN was set successfully, the Reset PIN window will close.  Now you must use your new PIN when turning on the computer.
