How to change the IP address for SPSS on your home computer.

If SPSS is not working on your home computers the SPSS inf file need to be modified.

1. Navigate to the following folder depending on the SPSS version installed on your computer or search for spssprod.inf on the computer.

• File locations:​
  • SPSS 19
  • C:\program files\spss19
  • SPSS20
  • C:\program files (x86)\spss20
  • SPSS21
  • C:\program files (x86)\spss21

2. Once the file is located, double click or right click and Open the file.
3. Change the IP address from 10.20.1.31 to 10.20.1.82.
4. Save and Close the inf file.
5. Run SPSS to confirm application is running.
